Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Spain Q1 2022

The performance of the top 5 Navigation and Maps applications in Spain during the first quarter of 2022 revealed interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps Go showed a strong presence with a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 70K in the week of February 28. Weekly active users also experienced a steady rise, reaching nearly 5M by the end of March.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, ranging from around 12K to 22K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, reaching about 467K in the last week of March.

For Google Earth, weekly downloads remained relatively stable, hovering between 13K and 17K. Weekly active users saw a modest rise, peaking at around 138K in late February.

GPS, Maps, Voice Navigation had consistent weekly downloads, with a notable increase mid-March, reaching approximately 14K. Revenue fluctuated but showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, peaking at around $156. Active users also saw a gradual increase, reaching over 42K by the end of March.

Radarbot Speed Camera Detector demonstrated strong revenue performance, peaking at approximately $4.3K in late December and maintaining around $3.4K towards the end of March. Downloads surged to about 18K in early March, while active users peaked at around 59K in the same period.
